While filming the show at her family’s ranch, Melissa was found with a co-worker’s dead body and then targeted for her murder.  Will her short-term stint on the reality show kill her fledgling writing career?

Special Note: Don’t let the cover fool you into thinking this is not going to be a real Cozy Mystery.  This is one of those books where you just have to ignore the cover and the title of the book. Just give it a chance.  It’s extremely well written and an incredibly worthy read.

As an English teacher on a routine trip to the library she unexpectedly tripped over one of her former students in the copy room. Turns out, his death was ruled a homicide and not an accident.  Soon after her return to the classroom she discovers that she’s the number one suspect in his murder.

Lot’s of gossip, small town politics, and banter with the sewing circle women.

This is light, entertaining, cozy mystery read that also has sewing tips at the end of the book. I should probably mention that I can’t sew a stitch, so that means I can’t comment on how effective the sewing tips are 😊
